Our clinical placement offers trainee psychotherapists and counsellors the opportunity to work with clients on an open-ended, weekly basis. We require a minimum of a one-year commitment, allowing you to build strong therapeutic relationships and expand your clinical experience. We also offer opportunities to continue working with your clients after qualifying.
Locations & flexibility
Our placements provide the flexibility to work with clients in-person at our therapy rooms in Elephant and Castle, London, and online. This allows you to create a schedule that suits your needs, while helping to make counselling and psychotherapy services more accessible for our clients. You will combine both in-person and online client work, please let us know your availability on your application form.
Client load & supervision
Receive expert guidance through fortnightly individual supervision (there is no fee charged to the trainee for supervision in our placement). Our experienced supervisors will support your professional growth and ensure the highest standards of client care. We ask trainees to work with a minimum of four clients. In addition to our in-person placement opportunity in London, we welcome applications from trainees seeking online only placements.
Training modalities & clinical interests
We encourage you to work within your training modality and develop your unique clinical interests and specialties while learning from a diverse community of professionals. Our placement is particularly suited for trainees on post graduate courses with a background or interest in integrative, transpersonal, Jungian, psychodynamic, and person-centred approaches. This placement is for trainees who meet a placement criteria, which can be viewed on the application form.
